The Best Christmas Ever!

Our Christmas was the best thanks to our new little guy! We stayed very busy during the Christmas season. We visited Santa, took a trip to the Avery Farm, did lots of shopping, spent Christmas day with the Madison/Davis/Hatcher/Avery family and just hung out together. Here are a few pictures from Jeffrey's first Christmas.

Our Life with Jeffrey Kent

Since I have a Dad who has everything, I've made it my goal to make him cry every Christmas! I've succeeded over the last two years and this year was no different. My Dad likes to come across as a big, strong man, which he is, but deep down he's one big teddy bear. I have been wanting to post the video on the blog for a couple of weeks, but I had to wait until after Christmas since Dad checks in regularly. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it.

Moving Weekend

Jeffrey and I went to Mom & Dad's house on Saturday to help them pack boxes for the big move. This is their last weekend in the old house. It has been a bittersweet time, we're excited about the new house, but it's really hard to leave behind so many memories. The great thing about this move is that the house is staying in the family. 1964 Hanchey Road will now be home to my Aunt Debbie.

Here are a few pictures from the little break we took on Saturday to visit with Santa, who came by on a firetruck!

Jeffrey and I are waiting for Santa to drive by on the firetruck.

Jeffrey and Fireman Santa. Notice Jeffrey's little elf p.j.'s. They say B'Jolly on the rear end. Thanks Martha for the great Christmas outfit.

Christmas Traditions

Jeffrey and I enjoyed a Christmas tradition at the Sawyer's Christmas party on Saturday night. Unfortunately, Ben had to work and couldn't join us, so Jeffrey was my date for the evening. We had a great time hanging out with old friends and meeting new friends. For the past seven years this party has been nothing but a bunch of crazy "adults." This year was much different because the "adults" were almost out numbered by the babies! Oh how things change. We are all so blessed to have our wonderful children. I look forward to many more Christmas parties as Aiden, Madelyn, Addison, Isaac, Molly, Kathryn, Jeffrey and those babies who are on the way all grow up playing together around the Christmas tree!

Little, littler and littlest..Who would have ever thought that this picture would even exist?? Jeffrey and I are joined by Molly, Shannon, Isaac and Kate. These women and their babies are such a blessing!

Mommy and Jeffrey both look a bit sleepy, but we were having a blast at the Christmas party!

Bath Time!

Jeffrey has grown to love bathtime! When we first brought him home he hated his sponge baths, but now that his little umbilical stump has fallen off he can enjoy a real bath. Mommy and Daddy are also enjoying bath time much more now that Jeffrey doesn't scream through the entire process!! Thanks Aunt Jenn for the awesome bathtub!

Jeffrey's Visit to the Doctor

Jeffrey went to the doctor today for his second check-up and he weighed in at a hefty 8 lbs. 6 oz. That's almost two pounds since his birthday! Unfortunately he had to get one little shot, which he hated. I'm really not looking forward to our next visit when he has to get four shots. Poor little guy. I'll add some more pictures after I upload them from my camera.
