First of all, I apologize for the lack of pictures lately, but the site isn't allowing me to upload images for some reason. I got lucky with the one below. I'm not sure what's going on. Anyway, Jeffrey is growing more and more everyday. We went to the doctor this past Friday for his two month check-up and he weighed in at a hefty 12 lbs! He's almost doubled his birthweight! Unfortunately Jeffrey had to get four shots at this visit. He screamed for awhile, but calmed down soon after. I was very proud of our little man.
I returned to the working world this past Wednesday. I've been at home since July so it wasn't easy going back. Luckily, my Mom is being nice enough to watch Jeffrey for several months, which has made the transition much easier. After being in the office for a couple of days I've found that it's kind of nice to be back to what I know. However, when I get home in the evenings I don't want to put Jeffrey down. We just hang out on the couch until it's time for bed.
In addition to returning to work this week I was finally able to return to my dance class. I haven't been able to get any real exercise since I found out I was pregnant in April, so needless to say I was a bit out of shape. My class wore me out after about 10 minutes, but I loved every second. It's great to be back in my dancin' shoes again. :)
So life at the Avery house is slowly but surely getting back to a new normal. Life has never been better!

Jeffrey enjoys hanging out on his changing table that's attached to the pack-n-play. I'm not sure why, but it makes him happy.
